Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope everyone has had an excellent day! The winter is almost over, but I wanted to make one last chunky scarf for the random days that it does snow. I purchased this yarn because it looked so fun and just decided to start making a scarf. For this scarf, I used 2 skeins of the Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick Yarn in Hudson Bay with 10mm knitting needles.
- Cast on 14
- Knit one, purl one x14. (the last stitch should be a purl stitch)
- Purl one, knit one, alternating until the end of the row (the last stitch should be a knit stitch)
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 until the scarf is 79 inches/200cm. This will give you a scarf that you can wrap around 3 times.
- Cast off.
6. Using a yarn needle, stitch together each end, making an infinity scarf and tie in the ends. Lastly, make sure you weave in any loose strands.
Here is my finished scarf, just in time for the next snow of the season! The triple wrap is a great way to add some more thickness and stay extra warm.
I really hope you enjoyed this post and once again, have an amazing Valentine’s Day. Thanks for reading!
