I am not amazing at makeup, but I watch tons of youtube videos and trying out new products and experiment with different looks. So, I thought I would just share my makeup look for today and do a mini review on what I think about these products.
I love the pore fessional to blur the pores on my nose and the center of my face. I also used the Lunar Makeup primer to add some extra moisture, smooth out my skin and allow the foundation to go on smoothly.
I am so amazed with the Milk Makeup blur liquid matte foundation (shade light). It is super light on the skin, but full coverage and covers my blemishes very well. It says it is matte, but I find that it just has a normal finish and I applied this with a makeup sponge. Next, I used the Tarte rainforest of the sea aquacealer concealer, which has a really nice texture, but otherwise it is not full coverage enough for my blemishes or dark circles and it creased really bad. I actually had to wipe it off my under-eyes because it creased in the weirdest way. I replaced it with No7 Radiant Glow Concealer, which is a light coverage, but brightening concealer and used the Sonia Kashuk brightening powder (discontinued). For around my face, I used the Invisible light Bare Minerals translucent powder, which I need to use more before reviewing, but so far I like it. For my bronzer, I am really really loving the Loreal True Match Lumi bronzer (light). It is definitely my favorite bronzer that I have. Next, I used the benefit dandelion baby pink blush and Bare minerals highlight, which is what I prefer, a really subtle highlight.
For my eyes, I primed them with the urban decay primer potion. I don’t think I really have a place in my routine for an eye primer and once I use this up, I will just stick to a concealer for priming my eyes. I next used the Essence make me brow, an amazing brow mascara for such a good price. I then created my eye look with the Tarte Tarteist™ PRO to go Amazonian Clay Palette and just used the top left nude color, brown color and bottom left gold and applied the Estee lauder liquid eyeliner for my winged liner. The inspiration for my eyes came from this pin. I used the Glossier Lash slick mascara, which I like for an everyday mascara, but I don’t think it was dramatic enough for my eye look today.
Lastly I used a Mac lipstick in Nouvelle Vogue, which is just a slightly lighter and pinker color than my natural lips. I am really loving the Mac lipsticks because they are so pigmented and go on super smoothly.
Thank you for reading! I hope you all have an amazing week and I would love to see any makeup looks you guys have blogged about or other makeup looks you love so I can get more inspiration!
